Busy, Busy…

It has been a busy week between family and work. I had a stream of children’s sessions and also the great opprotunity to photograph the Satrom family (19 in all) out at their beautiful farm in Oriska. I had such a great time with them. I have enjoyed getting back into the “swing” of things since Emily’s birth. On Wednesday Haley had her kindergarten shots and what an experience that was! It was not much fun to hold her while the nurses administered the shots. It was hard for both mother and child that day. Let me just say she got a little extra attention from Daddy and Mommy. I am glad we don’t have to go through that again for a few more years. Emily also had her 8 week check up this week. She is just under 10 pounds. She is smiling lots and “cooing” and “gooing” more each day. Yesterday the girls and I drove to Nothern Minnesota for a wedding that I will be photographing on Saturday. I have four weddings before the end of the year and have already begun booking for next year’s wedding season! To wrap up the week I have been working on my website and am anxious to get it up and running. I have many new and exciting products in the works to offer my clients! Check back as I plan to add some images from photo sessions over the past few weeks plus Jesse and Jessica’s wedding day!

I did it!

I have been thinking about creating a blog for some time now, mostly to showcase some of my latest work while my website is being built. So tonight I sat down to see how hard it would be to create one and found that it isn’t that difficult at all…maybe I am a little more savvy than I think! So, here we go. Hopefully I can keep it interesting so that you will check back every now and then. This is one of Emily’s first pictures at home. I know it isn’t that recent (8 weeks ago) but it seems like it was just yesterday to me! She is growing awfully fast and changing before my eyes. I am blessed with so many things … A great husband and three beautiful children to name just a couple… oh and I need to mention that I get to take pictures for a living, something that I truly enjoy and have a passion for..
