Derek was a great subject to photograph. We battled the cold and wind to get a few images outside. It was a little muddy out there but hey, not to many things will hold me back from getting a solid image! I do have to confess that I love having the unlimited outdoor locations that the Fargo/Moorhead area has to offer… These locations are right up my alley! His session is definitely making me look forward to the upcoming summer sessions with the class of 2009. (I have only 9 spots left!)
Thursday night “date night” turned a new leaf over for Doug and I. No planning by me, Doug had it all in his hands. He signed us up for some Maculele/Samba dancing… My girls and I enjoy watching Dancing with the Stars and when Doug saw the opportunity to take part in a little dance instruction at MSUM he went for it. It is not the ballroom dancing that you see on DWTS… but Brazilian dancing with bongo drums, shakers and sticks! We had a blast laughing together at how uncoordinated we are and it was a lot of fun trying something new that we would not typically do. So, we are starting to break out of everyday life and have some fun just the two of us. The forum was there to document so if you got the Friday forum, you won’t see us, thank goodness but a few others who were shaking it up!
Michael’s 6 month session today. He is the sweetest little guy, so easy going and content. He has the biggest blue eyes and the most perfect baby skin and how could you not love his curly hair! These are some of my favorites…
Couldn’t leave out his big brother. 
Jillian is the youngest client to be carried into the studio in awhile. Born 4 weeks early she is just a little peanut! It was so cute watching her peak open her one eye to get a look around. She was a sleepy little girl which is to be expected for this little preemie. I look forward to more photos with her and her wonderful parents!
Ava and made it over for her 6 month session, what a cutie she is. She was all smiles and full of wiggles! She’s a doll for sure. I am looking forward to her 9 month session!
Greta…. What a beautiful baby girl, she is perfect in every way. She had amazing strength for such a little one. Her Mom and I got to witness her first stomach to back roll! We had lots of fun and again probably could have photographed her all day. Had to add in just one of brother Bodie. Enjoy Rebekka and Bryant!
Well the plane tickets are purchased and in May I’ll be off to beautiful Charlotte, NC for the engagement session of Danielle and Kyle and then down to Auburn to check out the wedding venue for their ‘09 wedding. I am so excited about the location… I can not wait to scout out some fantastic locations for the 2 as well as some fine dining experiences. I am also looking forward to meeting “Noodles” who will be part of the pictures as well. The ideas are abundantly overflowing in my brain!
June will be full of weddings with one being at the Town and Country club located on the lake in Bemidji, MN… Weather permitting the ceremony will take place outdoors.. I am also looking forward to my July weddings up in Grand Forks and another along the North Shores of Duluth, Minnesota at Luetsen Resort and Lodge! This will be an exciting wedding summer for sure.
He’s 3 months already? The months do fly by as we Moms know! That is why it is so important to capture these little ones every few months to document their first year because they really do change right before our eyes! Gavin was so full of smiles, I think we could have taken a ton more but the babies tire before me unfortunately. A few….
